Dental Health in Children



Kids Health - Parents are often reluctant to check their dental health because it considers the baby teeth will be the date that is less important than the adult teeth. But in fact it is not true. Therefore, the milk teeth have close linkages with dental health in adulthood later.


" Many parents think that baby teeth is important not to be noticed. " The function of the milk teeth are actually preparing adult teeth can grow so well. Therefore, parents need to be aware that the milk teeth is as important as permanent teeth or adult teeth, " explained Prof Melanie.


When the child reaches the age of golden age, namely at around 1-3 years of age, children should begin to be introduced with good habits like brushing teeth and tools that he can use. This moment will be easier to remember and continue until he reaches the age of kindergarten and elementary school.

" Well, if this moment missed, then the future adult teeth will grow in random places, there appear to the outside, inside or in the direction of the tongue, such a condition that can injure adjacent tooth or the tooth itself.


Milk tooth decay can cause pain, abscesses, until teeth prematurely. Well, the date the milk teeth prematurely can cause the jaw bone to grow with no maximum. Thus, the adult teeth begin to grow and do not have enough space to grow crowded.


Prolonged tooth pain in children can affect the concentrations studied. Furthermore, the milk teeth are not well maintained and has a bad display also causes psychological effects on children, such as children become less confident.
